Photograph of the Day > Lady Gaga by Ellen Von Unwerth

Lady Gaga has brought a whole new level of sexy to the spotlight. Forget glamorous spray tanned double G models; it's vamp fever! Her body is to die for and so are her fangs! Ellen Von Unwerth certainly knows how to capture 'sex' and 'vampires' in a photograph! I love the chunky heels, fiercely raunchy pose and expression and the high contrast in black/white which is one of Unwerth's trademarks in her photographs. I had seen this photograph a while ago as it was shot for OUT magazine, August 2009 but came across it again today and forgot how much I loved this photo! This feature is called 'The Lady is a Vamp' and is styled by Nicola Formichetti.

Photograph of the Day > Lady Gaga & Marc Jacobs by Mario Testino

I love this picture of Lady Gaga and Marc Jacobs! Lady Gaga's humorous yet lovable expression and Marc Jacobs 'fed up' look with pushing Gaga in a trolley! Testino certainly knows how to capture wonderful atypical portrait shots. I also love Gaga's shoes, it's a wonder how she can walk in them!
This was shot for the 67th issue of V called The New York Issue by marvellous photographer Mario Testino and wonderful stylist Nicoloa Formichetti. This shoot features 26 inspiring New Yorkers from the likes of Tyson Ballou, Jake Shears, Debbie Harry, Mark Ronson, Chloe Sevigny amongst many other famous names. Wish I could get V Magazine where I live! I love New York, I'm certainly going back there again!

Only Lady Gaga can make Raw Meat look Fashionable!

Lady Gaga is my hero! Photographed by the famous awesome Terry Richardson.

Raw meat?!?! She really pushes fashion and photography to the extreme! To be able to do this is extraordinary and iconic. This cover shall certainly be remembered as one of the most 'gutsy' magazine covers for 2010, if not this decade!

Looks like Vogue Hommes Japan REALLY love Lady Gaga as she recently did a photo shoot/cover where she looked like a man (under the name of  Jo Calderone) Check out more from that shoot here.

Photograph of the Day > Lady Gaga by Nobuyoshi Araki

This image is certainly the most erotic 'Photograph of the Day' feature; with Lady Gaga dressed in nothing but a rope constrained around her. This is bondage photography to the extreme! But you can't expect anything less from (pornographic) Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. Despite this image being 'uncomfortable' for some viewers Araki has managed to capture Lady Gaga's wild character and her inner 'Marilyn Monroe' glamour. The coloured paint splotches slightly conceals the mature content of this photo whilst adding a vintage vibrant effect. Even though 'bondage' is associated with pain and S&M this photo doesn't convey any of that as Lady Gaga smiles naturally at the camera. Some may say this is beautiful, others grotesque; but when it comes to Lady Gaga, the least you can expect is a single opinion. Bravo for out roar.

This 'New Star' shoot featured in Vogue Hommes Japan with fashion direction by Nicola Formichetti, and styling by Shun Watanabe.

Lady Gaga actually looks like a man!

I was talking to my awesome friend, Swebb and were admiring how amazing Lady Gaga was. So I decided to search for her on Just Jared  (http://justjared.buzznet.com/)  and found that she had done a shoot for Vogue Hommes Japan where she genuinely looks like a man! It's no surprise that she's modelled for Vogue Hommes as she can get away with men's attire! These photos will be published in the September issue and Lady Gaga will go under the name Jo Calderone.

Lady Gaga constantly pushes the conventional idea of what fashion is as she's always challenging new styles and creating her own trends. Here, she's even changing genders! This is quite amusing seeing as there has been so many rumours about her being a hermaphrodite and what her sexual orientation is etc. This shoot simply shows how versatile she is as an artist, model and icon.

I love you Lady Gaga!
